  • The products are made of galvanized steel, which ensures resistance to moisture.
  • Standard structure: in the center there is a plate with several holes and antennae, and the sides have fixation points in two rows.
  • When the product takes on a U-shape, the protruding parts have dimensions of about 120 mm with a center of 60 mm, with antennae – 90 mm.

Its popularity can be attributed to how easily and quickly the straight element can be attached. There is an elongated hole in the center for alignment and baiting, but it is rarely used. Two internal points are located along the edges for initial wall fastening.

  1. Self-tapping screws are screwed into the cut out antennae when hanging the profiles on the ceiling, which prevents the part from stretching.
  2. The extreme sections are bent and the fittings are fixed to the CD through the holes on each side.

A load of 25 kg can be supported by a standard fitting with a thickness of 0.5–0.8 mm; a load of up to 40 kg can be supported by reinforced options. Between 50 and 60 centimeters is the ideal placement step. The distance is lowered to 35–40 cm when there are noticeable deformations in the base and when interior items are hung afterward.

  1. The main part is a T-shaped part, the lower section may be different depending on the manufacturer and serves to fix between the ribs of the profile. The elongated fragment facing the base on which the clamp is located is called a spring. There are two holes at its ends.
  2. The suspension rod is a separate element, also called a wire or a spoke. One end of the rod is straight, and the other has an eye that serves to fix the anchor. The thickness of the fragment is at least 4 mm, the length is from 35 to 150 cm.
  3. To assemble the elements, the clamp is slightly bent, a spoke is inserted into it, after which the tie is straightened and the wire is securely fixed.
  4. The design can be extended. For this, a rod and a double-sided clamp are added to the kit. The assembled configuration resembles wire hangers for T-shaped profiles used for assembling ceiling panels.
  5. The additional fragment is joined in such a way that the long spoke is threaded through two clamps. Parallel to it, a rod with an eye is pushed through the double-sided coupler to increase the size (see. photo).

The product is installed by drilling 40 to 60 cm holes in the base and inserting special ceiling anchors into them, to which the spoke eye is hooked.

It is also possible to suspend elements from dowels by clamping the rounded end of the rod. However, because this technology doesn’t always offer the required dependability, it’s only appropriate for lightweight constructions.

Other methods can also be used to assemble the gypsum board frame:

  • Vibration hangers. This is a specialized product that is used to level out sound vibrations transmitted through the base. This includes several varieties that differ in design. The low demand for products is explained by the high price.
  • Vernius hanger. Consists of an upper and lower part, which allows you to adjust the size. Length can vary from 40 to 100 cm. Provides high reliability and strength. The installation technology is similar to the anchor version, but the resulting structure is more rigid and can withstand a load of more than 40 kg. Suitable for multi-level structures with a complex shape.
